Rotating Intern

When Becky Lozada-Miranda was weighing what to do after graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine last spring, the thought of returning to an academic institution wasn’t high on her list. But once she decided to participate in the Veterinary Internship and Residency Matching Program, it was natural for the California native to return “home” to Ames. “Iowa State had become home,” she said. “I had good relationships with the clinicians and I knew this was a place I could be comfortable at and be successful.”
